Astypalaia, a Greek Dodecanese island in the Aegean Sea, will be my home for 5 weeks this summer. I will be participating in a Bioanthropological Field School run by University College London and the 22nd Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities. We will be excavating an ancient children's cemetery. My passion for human osteology has led me to this tiny Greek island half way around the world. This blog will document the journey.
