The Maltese Falcon in Livadi Bay

One of my greatest joys is watching the boats come in and out of Livadi Bay. I always hope to see extravagant yachts, but usually only see garden variety sailboats.

Today, after a small afternoon nap, I was greeted with this spectacular vessel. I was so surprised that I cried out and Andrea scurried over to see what was so exciting.

It took only a small amount of research to determine that it was the Maltese Falcon, sailing under the Maltese flag.

It is moored directly in front of the house I rented, so I have a fantastic vantage point. I hope it stays tonight so I can see it all lit up!

I think it is available for charter for 500K or so a week. Sleeps 12, so divide the rent up between your closest friends.

More soon.
