Stuck Truck

Here are two shots of a couple of poor guys that got their truck wedged between two opposing walls in this alley.

We see this ramp/staircase every day when we walk to school, but we've never seen anyone brave enough to drive a vehicle on it until today. As you can see, they've just laid a rough layer of concrete down over a staircase.Maybe not the best idea. Don't have any idea why they didn't drive straight up the ramp, they must have been trying to avoid some obstacle.

Our school is opposite the wall on the left hand side of the first picture. We were drawn outside by a large commotion, tires spinning and lots of shouting in Greek. This is the scene that we encountered around noon. I checked a bit later and they were trying to unload cargo from the back of the vehicle. The truck was still there, totally abandoned when we left for the day at 3pm. I'll let you know if it is still there tomorrow.
